The Culpeper County School Board recognized students from Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School on Monday night for earning national AP Scholar Awards based on their performance on 2026 Advanced Placement (AP) exams.
The College Board AP Scholar Awards recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through their performance on multiple AP exams. Students recognized this year have excelled in challenging coursework and achieved scores that distinguish them for their academic accomplishments.
There are three levels of AP Scholar recognition:
AP Scholar is awarded to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams.
AP Scholar with Honor is awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
AP Scholar with Distinction is awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.

Connor F. Miller, Class of 2026 – AP Scholar with Distinction

In total, 20 CCPS students earned AP Scholar recognition, including seven who earned AP Scholar with Honor or AP Scholar with Distinction honors.
