Culpeper County Public Schools is pleased to announce the appointments of Corey Stiver and Hannah Wingard as Assistant Principals at Eastern View High School and Aaron Jennings as Assistant Principal at Floyd T. Binns Middle School. All of these educators bring years of experience serving Culpeper County Public Schools and a shared commitment to supporting student achievement, building strong relationships, and fostering a positive school culture.
Corey Stiver – From Floyd T. Binns Middle School to Eastern View High School
Corey Stiver joins the Eastern View High School administrative team after serving four years as Assistant Principal at Floyd T. Binns Middle School (FTB). During his nine years in public education, all with Culpeper County Public Schools, he also spent five years teaching social studies at FTB.
In addition to his leadership responsibilities, Stiver served as the school's Testing Coordinator and coached football and wrestling, demonstrating his commitment to supporting students both inside and outside the classroom.
Stiver holds a Virginia license in Middle Education 6-8: History and Administration and Supervision PreK-12. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education with a concentration in Social Studies from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from James Madison University.
"I am deeply grateful for my years at FTB, where I learned invaluable lessons, built meaningful relationships, and grew both personally and professionally," said Stiver. "I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to serve the students, families, and staff of Eastern View High School. I look forward to this new chapter supporting student success and helping guide students on their journey to graduation and beyond. Go Cyclones!"
Stiver, his wife, Lindsey, a nurse at UVA Culpeper Medical Center, and their newborn son reside in Culpeper. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, and anything sports-related, including traveling to college football games.
Hannah Wingard – From Pearl Sample Elementary School to Eastern View High School
Hannah Wingard returns to Eastern View High School after serving as Dean of Students at Pearl Sample Elementary School during the 2025-2026 school year. She brings 11 years of experience in public education, all with Culpeper County Public Schools.
Wingard began her career as a special education teacher at Floyd T. Binns Middle School, where she taught for seven years before spending three years as a special education teacher at Eastern View High School. Throughout her career, she has also remained actively involved in athletics, serving as an assistant coach for the Eastern View girls basketball and track and field programs.
She holds Virginia licensure in Elementary Education, Special Education K-12, and Administration and Supervision PreK-12. Wingard earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood and Special Education from Westminster College in Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from George Mason University.
"I am excited to continue growing as an educator and leader within CCPS and am honored to return to the EVHS community as Assistant Principal," said Wingard. "Throughout my years as a teacher and coach, I have built meaningful relationships with students, staff, and families, and I look forward to strengthening those connections in this new role. Eastern View is a special place. I am grateful for the opportunity to support the success of our students and staff and serve the entire Cyclone Nation community."
Wingard is actively involved in the Culpeper community through volunteer service with Culpeper Baptist Church's Children's Ministry, Culpeper Parks and Recreation youth clinics, the Culpeper Soccer Club, Culpeper Youth Basketball, and the Culpeper Sheriff's Basketball Camp.
She and her husband, Shane, a teacher at Patriot High School, have two children, and reside in Culpeper. Outside of school, Wingard enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, biking, fly fishing with her husband, supporting local youth sports, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State football.
Aaron Jennings – From Sycamore Park Elementary School to Floyd T. Binns Middle School
Aaron Jennings has been named Assistant Principal at Floyd T. Binns Middle School after serving 10 years in public education, all with Culpeper County Public Schools. During his tenure at Sycamore Park Elementary School, Jennings taught both third and fifth grade, building strong relationships with students and families while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
Jennings holds a Virginia license in Elementary Education PreK-6 and Administration and Supervision PreK-12. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Slippery Rock University and a Master of Science in Education from Old Dominion University.
"As I begin this exciting new chapter as the Floyd T. Binns Middle School assistant principal, I am filled with both excitement and gratitude," said Jennings. "While I look forward to the opportunity to support students, staff, and families in a new role, I will always cherish my time as a teacher at The Park. The relationships I built with students, colleagues, and families have shaped me both personally and professionally, and I am incredibly thankful for the memories, lessons, and experiences that will continue to guide me throughout my career. Although I am excited for what lies ahead, I will always carry a deep appreciation for the school community that played such an important role in my journey."
Jennings and his wife, Camille, a fourth-grade teacher at Pearl Sample Elementary School, live in Culpeper; they have one daughter and a dog named Blanche. Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with his family, following baseball, football, hockey, and basketball, and spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.
