CCPS Announces Third Annual Back to School Bash: New Location at CCHS

Culpeper County Public Schools (CCPS) is excited to announce the return of the Back to School Bash for its third year! Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Culpeper County High School.

After the overwhelming success of past year’s events, CCPS continues to expand and improve the Back to School Bash to make it even more exciting for students and families. The event will once again offer free food, free backpacks filled with school supplies and free haircuts for students. Families should stop by their school’s table at the event, located in the bus loop, to learn how to receive these services.

This year’s Bash will also feature even more vendors and local organizations, providing valuable resources and fun giveaways. Students can enjoy a variety of activities, including bounce houses, a dunk tank, and a bicycle course, all designed to celebrate the start of a new school year in a fun and supportive environment.  New this year, we will add a “center stage” area for groups to perform throughout the event.  

We are currently recruiting community partners to join us at the event.  Interested organizations should complete this partnership form.

Las Escuelas Públicas del Condado de Culpeper (CCPS) se complacen en anunciar el regreso de la «Back to School Bash» por tercer año consecutivo! Marquen sus calendarios para el sábado 1 de agosto de 2026, de 9:00 am a 12:00 pm, en la Escuela Secundaria del Condado de Culpeper.

Tras el éxito de los eventos del año pasado, CCPS continúa ampliando y mejorando el Back to School Bash para hacerlo aún más emocionante para los estudiantes y sus familias. El evento ofrecerá una vez más comida gratuita, mochilas gratuitas repletas de útiles escolares y cortes de cabello gratuitos para los estudiantes. Las familias deben acercarse a la mesa de su escuela durante el evento —ubicada en la zona de parada de autobuses— para informarse sobre cómo acceder a estos servicios.

La celebración de este año contará también con aún más vendedores y organizaciones locales, que ofrecerán recursos valiosos y divertidos obsequios. Los estudiantes podrán disfrutar de una variedad de actividades, que incluyen castillos inflables, un tanque de inmersión y un circuito de bicicletas; todo ello diseñado para celebrar el inicio de un nuevo año escolar en un ambiente divertido y de apoyo. Como novedad este año, añadiremos un área de «escenario central» para que diversos grupos realicen presentaciones a lo largo del evento. La Fiesta de Regreso a Clases es gratuita y está abierta a todos los estudiantes y familias de Culpeper.
