Flyer for a Substance Abuse Awareness Workshop organized by Culpeper County Public Schools and funded through the Title IV grant. Proclamation issued by the Culpeper County School Board and signed by Division Superintendent Anthony S. Brads, Ed.D. and School Board Chair Barbara L. Brown, recognizing October 2024 as VSBA Bullying Prevention Month. The proclamation highlights the growing problem of school bullying in the U.S. and Virginia, citing statistics on bullying, absenteeism due to bullying, and the impact of cyberbullying. It emphasizes the importance of awareness and discussion among parents, students, teachers, and administrators and references the Virginia School Boards Association’s model policy to encourage positive behaviors and eliminate bullying. Adopted on September 9, 2024
