Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by a division selection committee using a standardized scoring rubric. Because each school division may only advance a limited number of applicants, selection is competitive.

Selection decisions are based on a combination of:

  • Academic profile GPA

  • Cognitive Assessment Achievement Test (CogAT)

  • Resume and activities

  • Personal Insight Activity

  • Recommendations

Meeting eligibility requirements does not guarantee selection.
