Yowell Elementary is hosting a Kindergarten Orientation for students starting kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year on Wednesday, April 24 from 5 to 6 PM. We look forward to meeting our new students!

If you’ve had a fifth grader at Yowell before, you know how much we enjoy honoring our outgoing fifth graders and celebrating all of their accomplishments. Each year we do this by creating a slideshow that includes one baby or toddler picture of each fifth grader. We would love your help in getting this project started. Please send in a baby/ toddler picture of your child for this presentation by April 19th. Any pictures received after this date may not be included in the slideshow.
There are two ways that you can share your child’s baby picture.
(Preferred Method) Email the picture to Mrs. Dugger, our school ITRT, at kdugger@ccpsweb.org. Please include your child's name and their teacher’s name in the email and use “5th grade baby picture” as the subject. You can use your smartphone to snap a picture of a picture. No need to get fancy.
You can send in the actual baby picture so it can be scanned. Please label the back with your child’s name and their teacher’s name. These will be returned to your child as soon as possible.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Dugger at kdugger@ccpsweb.org.

Mrs. Yost's class participated in an activity today where they had to save the school from the evils of Mr. Magnetic. Thanks to their skills they were able to release the magic paperclip just in time using what they know about magnetism. Way to go Mrs. Yost's class.
