Culpeper, VA – October 21, 2025 – Culpeper County High School (CCHS) proudly celebrated the academic accomplishments of its outstanding students during the Annual Academic Jacket and All A’s Ceremony, held on Monday, October 20, 2025, in the CCHS auditorium.
This long-standing tradition highlights the school’s commitment to fostering academic excellence, effort, and growth. This year, 78 seniors received their well-earned Academic Jackets, recognizing their remarkable achievement of maintaining a 3.8 GPA or higher throughout their high school journey.
The ceremony carries a special meaning for recipients, who are invited to select up to two important individuals, often parents or guardians, to present their Academic Jacket. This tradition reflects the crucial role families play in supporting and encouraging students’ academic success, reinforcing the powerful partnership between home and school.
In addition to celebrating the Academic Jacket recipients, the event also recognized students in grades 9 through 12 who demonstrated exceptional academic performance by earning straight A’s as their final course grades during the previous school year. A total of 78 ninth graders, 48 tenth graders, 22 eleventh graders, and 31 twelfth graders were presented with All A Medals. These custom-designed medals can be proudly worn at graduation to commemorate their dedication to excellence.
These students exemplify the academic rigor and determination that CCHS strives to instill in every learner, serving as role models for their peers.
The Annual Academic Jacket and All A’s Ceremony remains a cherished tradition at Culpeper County High School, celebrating not only individual achievement but also the collective effort of students, families, educators, and community partners in building a culture of academic excellence.
