Culpeper County High School and Eastern View High School Celebrate the Class of 2025
CULPEPER, VA – May 17, 2025
Last week, both Culpeper County High School (CCHS) and Eastern View High School (EVHS) celebrated their graduating seniors with multiple events, including convocation, where scholarships were awarded and the top students were recognized, a Top 20 Dinner, and the celebrations concluded with each school’s Commencement Exercises on Saturday, May 17, 2025.
Culpeper County Public Schools (CCPS) proudly celebrated the graduating Class of 2025 in two simultaneous ceremonies held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 17. Culpeper County High School (CCHS) and Eastern View High School (EVHS) honored the accomplishments and future paths of their seniors during heartfelt and inspiring commencement exercises.
At EVHS, CCPS Division Superintendent Dr. Tony Brads delivered congratulatory remarks to the 379 graduates and their families. Across town at CCHS, CCPS Executive Director of Human Resources Michelle Metzgar addressed the 284-member graduating class.
Each ceremony included inspiring student speeches. At CCHS, Rosario Uribe reflected on his high school journey with remarks titled “Small Actions, Big Impact” and Elizabeth Wynkoop spoke about “Asking the Right Questions.” At EVHS, Joselin Flores shared a heartfelt message that she called, “The Other Side of the Blanket” and Abigail Brown expressed her thoughts in a message called “Thank You High School.”
