Ms. Prentice enjoyed a memorable visit with students to Montpelier, the home of the fourth U.S. President, James Madison. The students were excited to tour the home where James Madison and his wife lived and eagerly engaged in learning new information while exploring the historic site. #thePark

With the upcoming snow storm keeping us all warm indoors, it’s the perfect time for our SPES students to grab their markers and crayons! We are looking for the perfect design for the 2025-2026 Yearbook Cover. This year’s theme is: “Panther Perspective, Celebrate the Differences.” See the pictures for more info!

✨ Did you know? While it’s the 100th day of school for many, it’s also the 1,000th day of school for 5th graders—what an amazing milestone to celebrate!
Here’s to 100 (and 1,000!) days of learning, curiosity, and growth! 🎉📚

A big thank you to the Sycamore Park Elementary School Choir for their amazing performance at tonight’s School Board meeting! Your talent, hard work, and enthusiasm truly shined and made the evening extra special.
🎲✨ Math + Family Fun = Holiday Win! ✨🎲
Our students are bringing home dice games to enjoy over the holiday break! These games are a fun way to keep math skills fresh while spending quality time with family. Learning doesn’t stop when school does—especially when it feels like play! We hope you enjoy the holidays with your family! We'll see you in January!

Our classroom was bursting with creativity today! Students rolled up their sleeves to make cranberry slime—the perfect mix of science, silliness, and seasonal fun. 🍇✨
And the highlight of the week? Our “Disguise a Turkey” challenge! From superheroes to secret agents, our clever 5th graders came up with the most imaginative disguises to help their turkeys escape the dinner table. The creativity was off the charts! 🎨🕵️♂️🦃
So proud of this class and their festive spirit. 🧡
