Rachel Wolfe Teacher of the Year 2026/2027

Our Teacher of the Year began her teaching career at Culpeper County High School in the fall of 2003, dedicating 19 years to inspiring students and building strong mathematical foundations before joining the Phoenix Alternative Education Program in the fall of 2022.

With more than two decades of dedication to education, she continues to make an extraordinary impact through her commitment to student growth, individualized instruction, and genuine belief in every student's potential. As Phoenix's Math Teacher and School Test Coordinator, she plays an essential role in supporting academic achievement, coordinating testing opportunities, and helping students navigate their individual pathways to success.

Beyond the classroom, she willingly takes on a variety of administrative responsibilities, providing invaluable support to the daily operations of the program. Her versatility, dependability, and willingness to step in wherever needed reflect her commitment not only to students but to the success of the entire Phoenix community.

She truly embodies the spirit of alternative education—recognizing potential, creating opportunities, and making a meaningful difference every day. We are proud to recognize her as our Teacher of the Year!
