We celebrated March Birthdays on Friday March 27th. Inara Brown 3/3,Dennis Gomes Guevara 3/5 Christian Umana 3/6, Gio Huff 3/6, Raelee Spenser 3/20, Mason Cosgrove 3/28, and last but not least Jahiem Lambert 3/30. It was a great time of celebration.

Congratulations to Ms. Maureen Bough for being selected as the Classified Employee of the Year at the Phoenix Alternative Education Program! On March 12th! Ms. Bough, affectionately known as Moe, is extremely reliable, patient, and caring, all qualities that make her very valuable to the Phoenix Alternative Education Program. She is here promptly every morning with a huge smile on her face ready to greet students. Moe has taken on a number of different responsibilities willingly and eagerly. Moe is making a difference at Phoenix and we are glad she is working with our
students.
On April 17th both high school and middle school students went on a field trip to the State Climb in downtown Culpeper.

The Groundworks Project at Verdun is still going strong. The students are learning so many great life skills.
