This year is the 238th Anniversary of one of the oldest-standing constitutions in world history. September 17th is Constitution Day, recognizing the date that the delegates to the Constitutional Convention met for the last time to sign the document they had created on September 17, 1787.
At Phoenix, our adult learners in the PALS Program (Post High) and Phoenix Alternative Education Program celebrated by tie-dyeing red, white and blue t-shirts to wear on Constitution Day to commemorate the signing of the United States Constitution. The event provided an opportunity for the adult learners and alternative education students to work together, help on another, and produce some great t-shirts. Those efforts culminated in a group picture with both programs proudly wearing their red, white, and blue!
A special thank you to Jennifer Perdue, Post High Teacher, who provided her time, Supplies, and tie-dye expertise to all of the students and staff.
