Last week, FTB FFA members demonstrated their commitment to leadership development at the Central Area Rally. Three students competed in public speaking contests, with Bouldin Tapscott earning first place in the area for Creed Speaking and advancing to the State Convention this summer! Heydi Medrano secured 2nd place in Spanish Creed, while Alex Lesicka placed 4th in Extemporaneous Public Speaking. Congratulations to all!

Our boys basketball team went into Walker Grant last night and came out with a 1-point win in the championship game! 38-37! Parker Montana led the way with 24 points, and our Blackhawks got the job done on the road. Massive congratulations, and we’re all so proud of you!

The FTB FFA Officer Team had an incredible time at the Virginia state capitol in Richmond, where over 700 FFA members gathered to meet with legislators. Thank you for participating in this year's Pulsera Project at FTB! We sold 53 more bracelets than we did last year! We sold 236 bracelets and 10 little bolsitas -- and all the proceeds are going back to the artisans in Nicaragua and Guatemala through the nonprofit organization, The Pulsera Project. Close to $1,400 was raised! We appreciate everyone's support to make this a huge success!
