Families had an amazing time at our Family Literacy Night with author and illustrator Layton Scarbrough!
This fun, family-friendly evening was full of reading, creativity, and holiday cheer. Students learned all about the creative process—writing their own stories, illustrating like a pro, and even enjoying a read-aloud of Layton’s newest book. They followed along with a guided drawing activity and created some fantastic artwork!
The holiday spirit was everywhere with adorable gingerbread crafts, and every student went home with their very own kit to make gingerbread cookies with their family.
