On Tuesday, May 13. 2025, Sage Romano, one of our amazing 5th graders, stepped into a leadership role as Emerald Hill’s Principal for the Day!
Sage earned this honor during our 5th Grade Family Night Out and brought so much fun to the role! She kicked off the day by handing out “Game On” donuts to our staff—thanks to Krispy Kreme's Pac Man donuts that perfectly matched our school theme this year: “Game On: Achieving Greatness Together.”
She greeted every class with a cheerful "Good Morning!" and made a big announcement—10 extra minutes of recess for all students!
Throughout the day, Principal Romano stayed busy helping prepare beach balls and goodies for our teachers, making her rounds through the school to ensure everything was running smoothly, and even hosted a lunch in the principal’s office with some of her friends
It was a day full of smiles and Emerald Hill spirit!
