June 7, 2025 - Glen Allen August 9, 2025 - Harrisonburg 8:00 am - 8:45 am: Registration/Breakfast Summit begins at 9:00 am The Family Engagement Summit is an interactive event that fosters meaningful collaboration among Virginia educators, families, and community partners. Research shows that family engagement is essential to student success. Family Engagement must be intentional and embedded within both school systems and disability services. Join us for this one-day summit, where dynamic speakers will share practical, research-based strategies and highlight the transformative power of strong partnerships. A limited number of hotel rooms are available for attendees who live sixty miles or more from the venue at no charge. Important: Rooms are on a first-come/first-serve basis. Once all blocked rooms are taken, no additional rooms will be available. Attendees who live less than sixty miles from the venue will NOT be eligible for a room.
