With Thanksgiving only a couple days away, Mrs. Bridges' first grade students decorated their turkeys to keep them safe this holiday. I think these creative disguises might work!

Miss Epstein's kindergarteners got into the Thanksgiving spirit, decorating turkeys! Mr. Berger's 5th Graders, meanwhile, were applying their knowledge of electrical circuits to hook up the LED lights and batteries. Happy Thanksgiving to our AGR students, staff, and families.

Mrs. Aylor's 2nd graders completed a breakout where the prize was apple pie and ice cream. This went along with the story, "How to make an apple pie and see the world." Tomorrow, Mrs. Robson's class will do the same activity!

Mrs. Day's 5th graders worked in the stem lab to create catapults to launch pumpkins. Tomorrow they'll have a contest to see how many points they can get on the target.

Today's robo call from Mrs. Dabney

Ms. Ciccarone's 3rd Grade class read the book Balloons over Broadway, about the history of the Macy's Day Parade, and then collaborated to design their own balloons. Can you believe the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is only a few days away!?

With 2,411 items donated, the SCA Annual Food Drive was a tremendous success! Thanks to everyone who donated items! The class who donated the most items was Mrs. Shurina's 3rd Grade class. This will be delivered to the Culpeper Food Closet next Tuesday. Great job Bulldogs!

AGR fifth graders went on an amazing field trip to CTEC today to learn more about potential careers. The staff and students were so welcoming and worked amazingly with our students. Many are already looking forward to high school when they can enroll in these programs.

Mr. Berger's fifth graders worked on a breakout that Mr. Berger created from start to finish. It was a review of renewable and nonrenewable resources. Great job bulldogs!

Today's robo call.
Also, the SCA canned food drive starts tomorrow!!

Just a few pictures from AGR Bulldogs on the Girls on the Run 5k at Fred Nats park. Months of training and dedication were put to the test on this hilly course. Great job girls!
They were led by coaches Janine Morrison, Kylie Syska, Madison Manning, and Ashton Souder.

Thank you Veterans. Today and every day.

AGR recognized and celebrated our Veterans today. Thanks to Culpeper Sheriff's Office Color guard, 2nd grader readings, 5th graders singing, & our veterans and families for their service.

Mrs. Bridges' 1st Grade class did a "part-part-whole" walk the room activity yesterday, and then did coding with a bee-bot lesson today. Hustle and heart set us apart!

Here are some photos from Mrs. Bridges' 1st Grade class having fun in various activities! Hustle and Heart set us apart!

Students in Miss Simpson's fourth grade class continued working on their ecosystem projects. These boxes will eventually have interactive recordings of the students (explaining components of their box), made possible through the use of Makey Makeys.

Many thanks to the Culpeper High School football players, who braved the cold to meet and greet our students on the way into school today! What a fun way to start the day!
