RECOMMENDED MOTION:  That the School Board convene a closed session to consider the following personnel matters pursuant to the Code of Virginia §2.2-3711 (A) (1):

  1. the appointment of certified personnel
  2. the appointment of classified personnel
  3. the transfer of certified personnel
  4. the transfer of classified personnel
  5. the resignation of classified personnel
  6. the approval of instructional supplements for 2016/2017
  7. the approval of fall coaching supplements
  8. the approval of teachers teaching an extra block
  9. the approval of a long-term paraeducator substitute


AND to consider the release of Named Students A, B, C, & D from compulsory attendance under religious exemption pursuant to the Code of Virginia §2.2-3711 (A) (2)


AND for the purpose of consultation with the Board’s legal counsel regarding legal matters relating to specific student disciplinary matters and requiring the provision of legal advice by such counsel pursuant to the Code of Virginia §2.2-3711 (A) (7) and §2.2-3711 (A) (2)
