Plate Tectonics/Volcano Guided Tour

Directions:  Read each question carefully.  Then click on the picture.  It will take you to a webpage that will help you find the answer.  After writing your answer, close the window and go on to the next question.

1.  There are three types of tectonic plate boundaries.  What are they?  Draw a picture of one of the boundaries and label it.  (Be sure to scroll down the page to find your answers)
2.  The Earth has four layers.  Name each layer and give a short description of each.
3.  How do earthquakes and volcanoes affect the earth's surface?
4.  You are now going to watch a movie on earthquakes and volcanoes.  Be sure to follow these instructions.  Click on the picture to the right.  When the new window opens, it will ask you for a username and password at the top of the page.  Type the username and password that is written on the front board and then click go.  After the page completely loads, click the link to play the movie.  As you are watching the movie, be sure to complete the quiz that you have been given.  After the movie is finished, move on to the final question.
5.  Follow the instructions above and watch the second movie.  When you finish, be sure to turn in your quiz and answers to your teacher
