 |
Alternative Education Program (Must be
referred by Discipline Committee) |
Local, state, and federal
funds are used to support and strengthen these services. In addition,
professional development opportunities are provided for instructional personnel,
which focus on meeting the educational needs of all students. Teachers
must be well trained and prepared to identify, intervene or remediate, assess
and follow up on the progress of each child. Because the school population
and the needs of students are constantly changing, services are designed to be
adaptable to the student and his/her situation. If you have questions
regarding the specific intervention or remediation needs of your child, please
discuss this with your child's teacher(s).
