Good Afternoon!

 

Every day you help open the minds of your female students to new ideas. Now, you can help them find the direction that will take them beyond high school. HerWorld is an event developed by DeVry University to introduce high school junior and senior women to careers in business and technology. The event will take place on Tuesday, November 17th at DeVry University, Crystal City Campus.

At HerWorldYoung Women in Technology, your students will hear from successful women working in the community. They’ll participate in team-building and educational exercises with other attendees.

This is an action-filled day that your students are sure to remember:

The guidance and counseling program provides services for students which facilitate the academic success of the students. Emphasis is on identification of the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical characteristics of the student.

 

The Office of Guidance Services seeks to establish a favorable climate in which student potentials can be developed, and in which difficulties can be overcome. Counselors coordinate efforts with classroom teachers, administrators, and their personnel associated with the educational process to help provide an environment conducive to learning.
