A Message from the Principal
This new school year brings to the student body, staff, and administration at Culpeper County High School a wide range of changes and challenges as well as the opportunity to be an integral part and participant in the re-creation of high school in Culpeper.
Five years ago, when the plans for a second high school in Culpeper were in its beginning stages, an idea took root regarding what a high school experience in Culpeper should be. This idea centered on creating smaller learning communities within our school. With this as our anchor, we believe it is our responsibility to provide our students an experience that is supportive and inclusive of each young man and woman that we have the privilege of having in our school. Many of the changes move us toward that end at Culpeper County High School for the 2008-2009 school year.
Despite change being inevitable, there will be growing pains during the process. We ask for your patience and support as we reinvent our school to better serve our students and their goals. With a dedicated staff and a motivated student body, the administration looks forward to serving the young men and women of our community. We want our students to experience "Blue Devil Pride" as more than a motto, we want them to see it as the very foundation of our school culture.
Together, we can make 2008-2009 the best year ever.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jeffrey Dietz
