Announcements..

1. Old Dominion University offers summer camp programs in Art, Fashion, Percussion, Choral Music and Math. Stop by guidance for additional information.

2. Literary Magazines are now on sale for $15. The magazine showcases drawings, writings, and photography submitted by CCHS students and staff. There are only a limited number available. See Ms. Edwards in room 135 if interested.

3. Yearbooks are on sale for $85, and will continue to be on sale until May 16. After May 16, no books will be available until we distribute them, and at that time, all sales are cash and carry only. Seniors will be receiving their books prior to the student body. Specific dates are coming...

4. The Blue Devil Chapter of the National Art Honor Society has just produced its first (and hopefully annual) coloring book. All of the drawings are original student art work with the cover being a collaborative artistic effort from our members. Relive your childhood and enjoy the therapy of coloring during the last few stressful weeks of school. These would make a nice gift for the children in your life too. The coloring books are on sale for $3.00 from any NAHS member or from Ms. Hale in Room 235. There is a limited number so don't miss out!

5. Seniors: Please see Mrs. Brockman to reserve handicap seating for graduation. Tickets will be handed out after practice on May 31st under the handicap tent.

6. All students who are enrolled in English pre- AP, AP, or Honors classes for the next school year need to pick up summer assignments beginning on Monday, May 14th. Work may be picked up in the following locations: rising pre-AP 10 with Ms. Edwards/room 135, rising 11 AP and rising 11 honors with Ms. Mervis/room 139, rising 12 AP and 12 honors with Ms. Hinchey/room 415. This summer work is a requirement for all students entering these courses. Please be sure not to leave for the summer without picking up your packet. Assignments may be picked up before or after school only, not during the school day.

7. Attention All NHS members: this Thursday is the last meeting of the year and we need all members to attend. Members will need to turn in raffle tickets and money. We will elect the new officers for next year.

8. Attention seniors: If you did not pick up your baccalaureate invitation during advisory on Tuesday-- please stop by the main office and pick one up. Do not miss out on this special event.
