Mr. Michael McKenna (Instructional Team Leader)
Mr. McKenna graduated with a BA in History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and recieved an MS in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University. He teaches Dual Enrollment U.S. History, Advanced Placement U.S. History, Advanced Placement European History, and general history courses. Ms. Abby Harris
Ms. Harris graduated from Edinboro University in Pennsylvania receiving a BS in Social Studies Education. She teaches World History II and Psychology. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she coaches swimming. Mr. Brock Hodgson
Mr. Hodgson graduated from Culpeper County High School in 1998. He joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve and went to Parris Island, S.C. for recruit training. After completing recruit training, Marine Combat Training, and the Basic Combat Engineer Course, he transitioned into the reserves and started college at Old Dominion University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Political Science. Mr. Hodgson returned to Culpeper and began teaching at the high school. In 2004 he was called to active duty in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and deployed to Iraq from September 2004 to March 2005. After returning, Brock took over as the wrestling coach. He teaches U.S. Government. Mr. Duane Kuykendall
Mr. Kuykendall graduated from Virginia Tech with a BA in History and a minor in Political Science. He teaches American History and Sociology. Additionally, Mr. Kuykendall coaches lacrosse and is a sponsor of the lacrosse club. Mr. Donovan O'Brien
Mr. O'Brien graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BA in History and earned an MS in Education from Troy University. He teaches World History I and honors. He coaches lacrosse in the spring and is a certified Virtual High School instructor. Mr. Benjamin Perez
Mr. Perez graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a BA in History and minored in Music and Education. He teaches AP Psychology, AP Government, World History II, and Government. Mr. Perez also sponsors "Rise Up" and the Chess Club. Mr. Chris Williamson
Mr. Williamson graduated from Claflin University in South Carolina where he earned his BS in Social Studies. He teaches World History I and has been an integral part of athletics at CCHS including football, lacrosse, baseball, and wrestling. He is an officer in the Virginia Army National Guard and recently returned from active service in Kosovo. |
