Unapproved 2003-2004 PTO List of Accomplishments

 

1.     Supplement expenses for a field trip for each grade level

2.     Purchase prizes for the accelerated reader program

3.     Purchase snacks for the entire student body on SOL testing days

4.     Provide funds for the end of the year field day

5.     Provide funds for 8th grade end of the year dance

6.     Provide refreshments for Back to School Night

7.     Provide teacher appreciation luncheons & recognize teachers and staff during teacher appreciation week

8.     Promote school spirit through sale of spirit items

9.       Participate in Red Ribbon Week

10.     Provide volunteers for ice cream socials, picture day, field day, book fairs

11.     Publish monthly newsletter

12.     Solicit donations for student incentive programs

13.     Maintain PTO website

14.     Fund Raiser Committee fall fundraiser though Lemonade Stand

15.     Supplement expenses for Blackhawk Athletic banquet in March 2004
