Hello, I'm Caitlyn and I'm talking with Phil about his life as a leprechaun.
Q. So Phil, why do you play tricks on
people?
A. It's funny and sometimes we
have to.
Q. Why?
A. We don't want
them to find our gold. We don't have gold for everybody!
Q. About the gold... Why do you
hide it?
A. So we can keep it away from greedy humans, what else?
We are not all greedy you know!
Q. Why can't you share some?
A. Hey ~ it's our gold, we don't give it away, unless we are outsmarted.
That's the game.
But you keep tricking us once we find it, it should be
ours.
No, we have to follow rule number thirty-seven.
Q. What is rule number
thirty-seven?
A. In the leprechaun handbook it says, 'Never give gold to greedy humans.'
But Phil, I already told you, we are not all greedy!
Ha! That's what you think!
Q. What do you use your gold for?
A. I buy clothes and food.
Q. What do you like to eat?
A. Fruits, nuts, and berries - my favorite are peaches.
Q. Is it true that you'll find
gold at the end of a rainbow?
A. Of course it's true!
Q. One last question. I
found a pot of chocolate coins on my desk, why?
A. Just a little joke. Ha! Ha!
Well, thanks for being here Phil. I hope you enjoyed this folks. As for me, I will be out there looking for a rainbow!

Oh so peaceful, oh so quiet.
Go outside, you really should try it.
Listen to the sounds you hear.
Some are far and some are near.
Go outside and go out today.
One of the sounds you'll hear is
children at play.
Another sound you'll hear right now
is the mooing of a farmer's cow.
Keep
on listening for another sound,
You may hear birds singing
as they fly around.
Another sound you'll hear is not loud.
It is a tiny kitten's sweet meow.
One
more sound you'll hear out there,
is a rooster crowing from a barn somewhere.
There are many sounds you can hear,
You may be surprised to find out, they are also very near.
