T.A.P. Mart

To Volunteer Info

Students earn money stamps throughout the year and are able to use this money to purchase items at our class store.  The store is open once each nine weeks when report cards come home.  TAP-Mart provides positive reinforcement to students for completing class assignments and homework.

Many students accumulate a large sum of money by the end of the year.  The money would lose its value if it was simply left over; so at the end of the year, I hold an auction.  Last year's auction was a huge success.  Most students spent all of their money, enjoyed their prizes and still speak of it with excitement.

Inventory

I stock the store with general school supplies such as mechanical pencils, section pencils, glitter glue, erasers, gel pens and little trinkets such as key chains, small address books, notepads, picture albums, playing cards, bubbles, etc..

Larger items are added for the end of the year auction.  These include puzzle books, jump ropes, travel games, Nerf Balls, snacks, CD containers, specialty pens, action figures, twistable crayons, craft sets, etc.
